Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College is a popular government medical college in Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1966 and is named after the Lion of Punjab & Arya Samaj leader, Lala Lajpat Rai. The college is popularly known as LLRM Medical College and LLRM Meerut. The college was founded by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of UP Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta ji in the city of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. 

LLRM Medical College, Meerut is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University (1966-2021) Currently, it is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. The college offers various medicine courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It produces extraordinarily trained medical and paramedical health workers for the country. The college is known as the centre of excellence in medical education, training, health care and research.

LLRM Medical College is recognised by top international organizations including National Medical Commission (NMC) & World Health Organization (WHO). The first batch of MBBS comprises 58 students, In 1968 the intake capacity of the medical college was raised to 100.
