The institute is formerly known as Mulayam Singh Yadav Medical College Uttar Pradesh. The medical institute is known as NCR Institute of Medical Sciences Meerut and is popular as NCR medical college Meerut. 

The National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 2018 by KSD Charitable Trust. This is a prominent trust organization that was founded in 2007 by Dr Om Prakash and Sarojini Agarwal in Meerut. NCR Medical College is affiliated with Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the World Health Organization (WHO).

NCR Medical College Meerut Admission Process

Know what process Students need to follow to take admission to study MBBS course at the National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut:

•  Applicants should have participated and passed the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) with qualifying marks required for MBBS admission at NCRIMS, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.  

• Applicants need to Fill out the Application form for admission on the official Website of the National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut.      
• Upload all the necessary documents and photographs in the required formats and submit your Application.

• Final admission will be based on the marks secured in NEET-UG by candidates, merit list and seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
• The Institute will send an Admission letter or offer letter to eligible candidates after reviewing all the documents.
• Candidates must pay mandatory 1st-year M.B.B.S. Tuition Fee, Hostel Fee, Security Fee and other Misclenous charges to confirm their admission to the medical Institute.

NEET PG Counselling Process

NEET PG Counseling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), and those UG graduates will participate in NEET Counseling for pursuing PG courses. 

Step 1- Applicants need to register on the official website MCC.nic.in for PG

            counselling.   

Step 2- Fill out the application form by entering all your required details such as your

              UG degree details, name, DOB, roll number and other information.               

Step 3- Verify all the details carefully and then Apply.

Step 4- Fill up all the necessary details of the NEET application including NEET 

             Application Number, Roll Number, Category and Nationality certificate.   

            

Step 5- MCC will conduct counselling in a total of four rounds AIQ First Round,

             Round, Mop-up round and stray vacancy round.  

Step 6- Applicants need to pay the required counselling fees and select the National   

             Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh as their 

             preferred choice and lock their MBBS Seat.

• The candidate should have an aggregate of 50% in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects for the General category and 40% for the Reserved category Candidates to study MBBS in NCRIMS, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
