The Institute was formerly known as Government Medical College Faizabad and it's popularly known as GMC Faizabad. The Institute is renamed Rajarshi Dashrath State Medical College by the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr Yogi Adityanath.

After the declaration of the NEET result, for the online counselling process candidates, can visit the official portal of the Directorate General in Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh and registered for NEET State Counselling.
NEET PG Counseling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), and eligible candidates will participate in NEET Counseling.
Step 1- Candidates need to register on MCC.nic.in
Step 2- Fill out the application form by entering all your required details such as name, DOB, roll number and other information.
