Rajarshi Dashrath State Medical College is an Uttar Pradesh Pioneer & prominent medical college. It was established in 2019 by the state government of Uttar Pradesh. The College is located in Darshan Nagar, Ayodhya district, Uttar Pradesh. It came into existence with the aim of improving the health facilities in the rural and urban areas of Uttar Pradesh. The Institute was formerly known as Government Medical College Faizabad and it's popularly known as GMC Faizabad. The Institute is renamed Rajarshi Dashrath State Medical College by the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr Yogi Adityanath.
