Governor Sir James Thomson, the founder of the college. Thomson Medical college was founded for the medical practice of British military doctors. In 1947, the name of the medical school was renamed changed to the first lady Governess of Uttar Pradesh, poet and freedom fighter, Bharat Kokila Sarojini Naidu. The medical college is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Agra is a famous city known for the historic building Tajmahal.
