CIHSR or Christian Institute Of Nursing Sciences & Research is one of the largest medical institutes in Nagaland which was founded in 1998 and was referred to as a hospital. This science and research institute is located in the district of Dimapur and was referred to as the hospital earlier. The whole campus covers an overall land area of 130 acres and was established in 2011. Christian Institute Of Nursing Sciences & Research consists of 12 courses and 3 degrees. 

Global Open University

Global Open University is a university of Dimapur which was established by the government in 2006 comprising 216 courses and 23 degrees. It is a state university that is approved by UGC, the Government of India, and the Ministry of Human Resource and Development covering a campus area of 83 acres. The university offers many other courses too along with an advanced diploma, diploma, and postgraduate diploma in many other fields. 

Naga Hospital, School Of Nursing

Naga Hospital Authority is a medical hospital and institute in Kohima which was established in 1905 as a dispensary. With time this ten-bedded dispensary was upgraded into the Kohima Civil Hospital with around 60 beds. Later on, it was renamed the Naga Hospital Authority.
