  • Role of a Commercial Pilot:

The aspirant should be min. 17 years of age with min. Aggregate marks of 50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and English subjects from a recognized board of education. A commercial pilot usually retires at the age of 60-65 years of age. Apart from that, you’re required to give a physical or medical test after the entrance. 

  • Entrance Exam after the 12th-

There are two options available for you in this regard- 

Firstly, you can sit for competitive exams conducted by UPSC, NDA ( National Defence Academy), or the CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam.

Secondly, you can gain commercial pilot certification from a reputed and certified authority such as the Directorate of General of Civil Aviation in India.
